Coral Gables Guide

The lack of a grid and numbered streets may make Coral Gables seem harder to explore than the rest of the city, but it’s well worth the extra navigation effort. Besides, there may be no more beautiful place in Miami to get lost. Trees form natural arches over many of the roads, and the boundaries are marked by stately gates. As one of South Florida’s oldest cities — it was founded in 1925 — it’s chock-full of history, and as the home to University of Miami, there’s plenty of cutting edge work and fun happening here as well.
