Downtown Guide

Downtown is one of the fastest growing areas of the city, a place that looks and feels entirely different than it did even a couple years ago. It’s cradled by the city’s main waterways, with Biscayne Bay to the east and the Miami River to the west and south, N.E. 6th Street as the official northern boundary. Museums, libraries, government offices, colleges, and some of Miami’s oldest buildings fill the Central Business District. But it’s not all business. There’s plenty of places to shop, party, and drink downtown, too.

We asked our Downtowners where to go, and they had awesome suggestions. But there’s always more to explore. Who should we know? And where else should we go? Let’s figure it out together.
