Across the street from the Busway & SW 200 St. bus stop in Cutler Bay, there’s a Mexican restaurant that’s been in business for more than 20 years: Ernesto’s Taco Shop.
Its kitchen manager, Carlos Bedoya, never thought he’d work in a Mexican restaurant, but this November will be his eighth year working at Ernesto’s. Why? Because people keep coming back to eat what he cooks. “That feeling, that people actually want my food, makes me want to do it again.”
