Design Thinking & Radical Collaboration for Solving the World’s Biggest Problems

The Idea Center at Miami Dade College has partnered with DTM Studio, organizer of Design Thinking Miami, to bring us a new educational program – Design for Miami, inspired by Stanford University’s famous Design for Extreme Affordability course!

To celebrate the launch of the program, we invite you to a discussion with Ariel Raz, Learning Experience Designer at the d.School at Stanford University.
Ariel will share with us his experience with Design Thinking and discuss how we can solve the world’s biggest problems through radical collaboration.

About our speaker:
Ariel Raz is driven by the belief that teaching is a creative profession. He taught middle school math with Teach for America in New Orleans and was a founding member of KIPP Bloom in the Chicago Southside. In 2014 Ariel began a master’s program in learning, design & technology that culminated in iCanGo, a story building tool for parents of children on the Autism spectrum. He is now a learning experience designer with the K12 Lab Network at the Stanford d.school.
