Free tickets to New World Symphony!

The New World Symphony has graciously given us some tickets to share with our members to this Friday’s Mini Concert shows. If you haven’t been to the symphony yet you gotta check out these concerts. The pieces are typically under 30 minutes long, performed by some of the best young musicians in the world, at the stunning New World Center designed by Frank Gehry.

The 7 p.m. performance will be dedicated to the jazzy and sentimental hits of Leonard Bernstein. The 8 p.m. concert will feature Richard Strauss’ heroic Don Juan. Horn Fellow Anthony Delivanis (Strauss) and Violin Fellow Michael McCarthy (Bernstein) will speak briefly from the stage to contextualize the music before it’s performed.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!

NWS has also given us some tickets to join them for their after party at the Catalina Hotel with the Friends of the New World Symphony, a young patrons group with awesome events around town.

Sorry, all the tickets are gone! Join The New Tropic today to get in on our next member giveaway!
