Living in Little Havana

Tickets are not available as this event has passed.

When you close your eyes and picture Little Havana what do you see, croquetas, cigars, and Cuban food? Although that is a fair vision, we at The New Tropic want to change that. Join us on Wednesday, May 15th, as we uncover another side of Little Havana, through the arts.

Futurama 1637 Art Galleries houses 15 artist studios and we want to introduce you to some of the many great artists using their talents to change the community.  Our evening will include a showcase of arts and culture through poetry, music, and getting to know the artist speaking moments.

Your ticket includes access to the program, hosted by Marvin Tapia, the face of The Salty Donut and the Community Representative for Viernes Culturales. As well as small bites from CHURROMANIA of Little Havana and El Cristo Restaurant, and a chocolate tasting with Guayaba Y Chocolate.

Our Little Havana neighborhood spotlight series has been made possible by The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau

Refunds will only be provided 48 hours in advance of the event. No exceptions.
