Yoga, Health and Well-Being
This event celebrates the 125th birth anniversary of Paramahamsa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, with a dialogue about uniting mind, body, and spirit.
Three Eastern spiritual leaders will speak at the event.
- Sri N.V. Raghuram, Chairman and Spiritual Founder of Yoga Bharati and Professor of yoga philosophy in Swami Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation (SVYASA).
- Roy Eugene Davis, a direct disciple of Paramahamsa Yogananda, Founder and Director of Center for Spiritual Awareness in Georgia, author of many books and publisher of the Truth Journal magazine.
- Akhilesh Sharma,Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine, who operates a clinic in New Delhi and is widely recognized for his outstanding contributions in the field of Ayurvedic medicine.
The speakers will speak on a variety of topics such as Ayurvedic medicine, yoga therapy, as well as Kriya Yoga. Kriya Yoga is a distinct form of medication where the intent is to connect to the divine within. Practitioners of Kriya Yoga included Steve Jobs and Mahatma Gandhi where meditation allowed them to connect to the center of their intuition and creativity. Attendees of this event will leave with much to think about and reflect upon.
In addition, there will also be a musical tribute to Paramahamsa Yogananda by Songstress, Marisa of Germany who recorded an album of songs by Yoganandaji, entitled O Life is Sweet.

Registration will begin at 6:00 p.m. At this time, light bites will be served. Presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharply.
