It’s been a long four years for fans of women’s soccer, but tomorrow the Women’s World Cup officially kicks off. And since fútbol fever took over much of the 305 last year during the men’s World Cup, it’s right to give shine to the women, especially since the powerhouse U.S. women’s team will be looking to defend their championship from 2015 😎.
So, we’ve put together a list of a few places where you can watch the World Cup festivities around town.
American Social: The bar will show all the games and local supporter clubs for the U.S. team and Inter Miami are co-hosting on the days the U.S. team plays. They’ll also have drink specials including: $3 tequila shots, $5 Jameson well drinks, $6 Guinness, and $15 buckets of Budweiser and Bud Light, and a free shot for every U.S. goal.
Coral Gables Library: The library branch will be showing all the games starting June 7.
Fritz and Franz Bierhaus: Will show all of the games and serve breakfast for the early games.
Main Branch Library: The downtown main library branch will be showing all the games starting June 7.
The Citadel: The food hall will be hosting watch parties for the U.S. team’s games starting on June 11 and throughout the tournament.
Café Crème: The bakery and restaurant will be showing all the games.
