Upper East Side Farmers Market at Legion Park

Legion Park has more than 30 diverse vendors every Saturday. In addition to the yummy local fruits and veggies, there’s one really awesome thing about the farmer’s market: the organizer, Urban Oasis Project, accepts SNAP benefits and doubles them. That means the fresh local food is available to all. Empower Farm, Little River Cooperative, Nature Boyz Juices, Half Baked Vegan, Angry Booch, and many others are mainstays that make it the marketplace for truly unique and delicious Miami-made healthy food. The market also has a “social profit” booth where a different nonprofit distributes information every week. (Photo courtesy of Upper East Side Farmer’s Market Facebook page)
