Need to cool off in Miami? Look to West Kendall’s ice arena

WHAT: Kendall Ice Arena, Miami-Dade county’s only ice sports center, opened its doors in West Kendall almost 20 years ago.

THE STORY: At this West Kendall spot, the temperature always runs below 50 degrees. They offer ice hockey and figure skating training programs, summer camps as well as ice skating classes for all ages and levels: from tots to adults. Kendall Ice Arena will celebrate its 20-year anniversary in 2020.
