Where in town might people run into you? Attending Nerd Nite presentations at Gramps, author signings at Books and Books, or film festival screenings at Tower Theater or O Cinema.
What local business do you think deserves a shoutout? Coral Gables Art Cinema is a cultural oasis in this city. They have such passion for film and live events. The 70mm screenings of classic films are must-see!
What’s a local event you went to recently that you loved? The Underline had yoga event at Brickell City Centre rooftop. Overlooking the Miami River and Downtown skyline was inspiring!
What made you decide to become a member of The New Tropic? I enjoy the positive frequencies that you send out about our beloved city.
What’s something you’re working on that you could use help with? I recently started finding my voice on my blog. It’d be nice to meet others who also enjoy telling their experiences.
If you only have one meal left in Miami, where are you going? Cerro Negro Restaurant and I would have the “lomito de cerdo.” Once you’ve tried it, the “why” is very obvious!
What’s a recent story you’ve read about Miami that you wish more people cared about? Recently 250+ artists opened their studios to the public and openly explained their creative processes. More people should be aware of the talented and inspiring artists that we have in our own backyard!
What’s your perfect day in our city? Mountain biking at Oleta River State Park, pizza at Andiamo, music or food festival, and finishing with wallcast concert or movie at New World Center.
What does it mean to you to live like you live here? That this is our city and we should care for it and raise it in the best way possible.
What are you celebrating in your life right now? That I have found a purpose!
