Hi Dr. Uriel! Tell us a little more about your practice.

I am a physician specializing in Pediatrics.

What’s a project you’re working on and how can our readers help you with it?

I am opening up a second office in the area of Doral — if you or someone you know is looking for a pediatrician, come on by!

Wax poetic for a minute and tell us: what brings you most alive about this city?

The fantastic warm weather, the diversity of its cultures, and the beautiful Art Deco architecture.

How does Miami help you do what you do or influence your work?

Being exposed to people from so many different countries and cultures makes me a more well-rounded physician.

What’s your favorite Miami memory?

The 1972 Miami Dolphins perfect season!

If you could eat only one meal from a local restaurant for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sushi from Makoto in Bal Harbour.

Outside of the obvious stop above, share your other top three destinations for where you’d go on your perfect Miami day.

Aside from sushi, shopping at Bal Harbour Shops, visiting Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and stopping by Deering Estate.

If you could give any one piece of advice to locals, what would it be?

Enjoy the diversity of foods, art, music, culture, and Miami’s incredible weather!

What are you looking forward to between now and the end of the year?

The growth of the Doral office.
