Development has shown no immediate signs of slowing down in Miami and as more cranes fill the sky and city and county officials continue to make plans for special districts, mixed-use developments, and even new sports venues.
For our latest Changemakers series we wanted to highlight the folks who are taking a unique approach to building our city, and doing innovative work in architecture and urban design.
Whether its folks like Craig Aquart, who founded a group aimed at increasing diversity in the architecture world, or Tony Garcia and Dana Wall’s work to envision urban design that involves the community, we hope their stories give you a sense of what Miami’s skyline could look like in the future.
