Aaahhh, eMerge Americas. It’s Miami’s biggest, boldest… umm… tech conference? Tech-ish conference?
Sure, there were tech keynotes — Steve Case who built AOL, Steve Todd of EMC, futurist Ray Kurzweil — but no other tech conference in the world features keynotes from Pitbull. Or Monica Lewinsky. Or Tony Hawk. Or Colin Powell. What these people actually have to do with technology, we’re not sure. But we enjoyed learning from them, and it wouldn’t be Miami if we didn’t break the mold, right?
And it also wouldn’t be Miami if we didn’t tweet, Insta, or Facebook super hot status updates of the entire affair. Here are a few of our favorite social moments of eMerge Americas 2016.
