Tomorrow is the runoff for the City of Miami District 3 commission seat. It’s between first-place finisher Joe Carollo, who got about 30 percent of the vote, and Alfonso “Alfie” Leon, who got about 20 percent. Click here to see our interview with Alfie. If District 3 was on your ballot on Nov. 7, then it’s on your ballot tomorrow, too. Your polling station stays the same as well.

If you need proof your vote matters, think about this: Alfonso “Alfie” Leon was only 17 votes ahead of the third-place finisher, Zoraida Barreiro, who he beat to get to the runoff. SEVENTEEN. #votelikeyoulivehere

Classic Florida Man. A Fort Myers man was charged with child neglect after leaving his toddler and infant in the car while he hung out at a strip club. Luckily, another patron noticed and helped the toddler unlock the doors. (Miami Herald)

Another one bites the dust. Feeling the pressure after all of the Democratic gubernatorial candidates called him out, Florida Democratic Party Chair Stephen Bittel has resigned. Of course, this comes after six former party staffers came forward, accusing him of behaving inappropriately and making demeaning comments toward women. (Miami Herald)
