Henderson “Junior” Biggers remembers his first day on the job. He wanted to be an auto mechanic, but the employment agency sent him to Stephen’s Deli in Hialeah, where he started working as a dishwasher. That was nearly six decades ago. Today, he slices corned beef and pastrami by hand at Florida’s oldest deli and will celebrate his 62-year anniversary this month.
