There’s public art everywhere in Miami Beach — but did you know it’s underneath the city streets too? All along the Collins Canal are paintings and installations that you’ll only notice if you explore the city from a small boat that can underneath all those low bridges criss-crossing the waterway.
Why would artists hide their work away in spots where only a couple adventurous folks would find them and appreciate them? That’s the mystery. But I’m glad they did.
