A safe space to talk sex and sexuality

Before the arrival of the eggplant and peach emojis, there was erotic art.

Founded in October 2005 by the late Dr. Naomi Wilzig, the World Erotic Art Museum is home to the largest collection of erotic art in the world.

Included in the collection are pieces by Rembrandt, Picasso, Tom of Finland, Helmut Newton, and Bernard of Hollywood. The more than 4,000 works of international art includes everything from paper sketches to the original penis sculpture that was featured in Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange.”

The museum on Washington Ave. provides Miamians a judgement-free space to explore and discuss ideas around sex and sexuality.

It frequently serves as a community center with workshops and events covering (and uncovering) topics such as yoga for better sex, toxic masculinity, nude figure drawing, and educational classes your partner would be glad that you took.

The New Tropic Studio works with brands and organizations to help them tell local stories, create meaningful engagement, and connect in Miami.

Our goal is a more human take on advertising that’s about mission, people, and being a part of making this city an even better place to live. If you’re into that, we’d love to chat about it. Reach out to us at [email protected].
